Mohamed Kaif, MD is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
He is proud to be from the Pasco and Pinellas county area. He graduated from the International Baccalaureate program at Palm Harbor University High School and went on to complete a combined six-year B.S./M.D. honors program at the University of Miami. He pursued rigorous internal medicine residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the prestigious University of Alabama at Birmingham. He had the honor of serving as assistant professor on faculty at the University of South Florida, where he pursued clinical practice as well as education of gastroenterology fellowship trainees from 2016 to 2018.
Dr. Kaif founded Frontier Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 2018 with the aim of providing excellent specialized care for patients with digestive and liver diseases. He sees patients in the office and at local hospitals, and he performs procedures in a number of ambulatory surgery centers and hospital endoscopy suites.
